Salman Khan makes Katrina Kaif sad

August 28th, 2010

According to reports, Salman announced to the reporters during a recent interview that he broke up with Katrina but that they are still friends.

“I have broken up with Katrina. We were friends then for everybody, we are friends now. A relationship breaks if it gets stretched in different directions, or one person does not grow, or the other person takes a different path, or there is some misunderstanding or they have grown out of love,” Sallu said.

Kat was at the press conference for Etihad Airways. Everything was going smooth, but soon the lady was overcome with emotions when asked about her personal life.

“If Salman Khan has said he’s single, I’ve also said I’m single. I am single. But beyond that I don’t think I need to give too much of details,” Kat said. “If Salman says we’ve split, it must be true,” she added and walked out of the press conference shortly after.

If buzz is to be believed, Katrina started to cry backstage and vowed to make changes to what reporters are allowed to ask during press conferences!

“What happened was very, very disturbing. I had the entire congregation of media persons questioning me about a statement made by Salman. If for all these years I haven’t spoken about the relationship, why should I do so now? I won’t be bullied into talking about my personal life. I am going to take contractual action to ensure limits are not crossed at these events,” Katrina said according to the news.

“Whether it is my personal or public space, I’ve noticed I allow people to take too many liberties. From now on my personal life remains out of public eye. And those who wish to share a personal equation with me better respect that,” she added.

Indian people dont take Freida Pinto seriously

“I haven’t been directly approached to do a Bollywood film. After Slumdog Millionaire I was given scripts to read but was not directly approached. I don’t think I fit the bill,” she added.

she said.

The 25-year-old actress will soon be seen in films like You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger, Miral, Rise of the Apes and Immortals.

Gauri mending relations between Shah Rukh Khan & Ajay Devgan

August 9th, 2010

If I ask you who is the best onscreen couple in Bollywood, picture of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol would rush to your mind. No doubt they are one of most adorable onscreen pairs. The kind of rapport they share from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to My Name Is Khan is incredible. But surprisingly, Shahrukh doesn’t get along too well with Kajol’s other half Ajay Devgan.

The relation between Shahrukh and Ajay was strained during the casting of Karan Arjun. Since then, they have been keeping away from each other both on and off screen. However, they are most likely to patch up if we are to go by the latest news. It is said that Shahrukh’s wife broke the ice at a party hosted by designer Anna Singh.
“Jaiveer (Anna’s husband) had a birthday bash, which was attended by Gauri and her close friends Bhavna Panday and Neelam Kothari among others. Ajay, who is close to Anna and Jaiveer, was also there. When Gauri spotted Ajay, she went up to him to congratulate the actor for his performance in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai,” The Times of India quoted a source as saying.

It is said that Ajay was very pleased with the compliment from Gauri. People from the film industry are hoping that the actors would patch up very soon when Kajol delivers her second baby in October.

Aamir Khan to play the Bad Guy in Dhoom 3

August 9th, 2010

The expectation levels for Aamir Khan have been soaring higher with every hit he delivers at box-office. His ‘3 Idiots’ was a rage at the box-office and though the actor is now busy with the release of his next venture ‘Peepli Live’, he now intends to do something which takes him a level higher than his previous hits and is yet dynamic, different and challenging at the same time.

Reports have it that Aamir Khan is considering to work with Yash Chopra with his ambitious multi-starrer ‘Dhoom 3’ where he may play a villain with a much stylized look. Recently, Aamir met Aditya Chopra, who gave the actor a brief narration of the role in the film and Aamir apparently loved what he heard. There will be a sitting for the script narration on August 13 when he returns from Melbourne and Delhi.”

Dhoom 3’ has always given a new frame, recognition and identity to its villains, be it John Abraham in ‘Dhoom’ and Hrithik Roshan in ‘Dhoom 2’. If this works out with Aamir Khan, the project will be beneficial to both the makers and the star himself. The third sequel to ‘Dhoom’ will be directed by Sanjay Gandhvi.

Shah Rukh Khan & Katrina Kaif the New Couple on the Screens

August 9th, 2010

Filmmaker Vijay Singh is all set to create a fresh Jodi in the film industry. This is something none has been able to do in the Hindi film industry so far. He’s in talks with the Bollywood badshah Shahrukh Khan for his next project, an 18th century historical love story between an Awadh king and a British girl.

In the past, Singh has shot critically acclaimed feature films like Jaya Ganga and One Dollar Curry. According to him, Shahrukh will perfectly fit the role of Nawab Naseeruddin Haidar in his third film, The Opium Symphony, based on his book Whirlpool of Shadows.

“I had met Shah Rukh regarding the movie and he had liked the idea. I am planning to approach him again for the role of the Nawab. He ruled Awadh from 1826-36 and fell in love with a British girl but their love did not suit the interest of opium traders at that time,” Singh said in an interview.

Singh has his eye on Katrina Kaif to play the British girl.

“Earlier I was planning to take a Hollywood starlet opposite him for the role of the British girl but I might talk to Katrina Kaif. I have been told she is British and is a fine actress,” Singh said.
